Happy Halowe'en

I had my dress up hallowe'en fun at a party yesterday....now I have lost my voice,  but I keep telling the little trick or treaters that come round they have done it because they are so scary.

I love this photo of my friend Sarah, she was a pierrot clown, and this photo makes her look like an old Hollywood film star.

I hope no more trick or treaters come. We are running low on fun size twirls and I really want one.

Super Happy Terific Pumpkin Time!

I did my halloween (home grown)  pumpkins this afternoon..........

.........subconsciously they kind of reflect my mood today, I have just found out I got the position of Nightwear/t-shirt designer I applied for, so the big chap at the back and the guy on the right reflect my "YEY WOOHOOO" mood. Then the little one on the left is that bit of me going " awww man I'm a bit frightened" ... at least the 2 happy ones cancel out the little worried one!

Tasty treats

I have a poorly tummy, thanks to a bad milkshake, I know it was this as my pal Sarah is the same. That will teach me for having a tasty treat. So today I went to buy some peppermints and some ginger to make it a little better and instead bought these.....................

...............I'll never learn.

I haven't blogged much recently sorry. I am working away on some Christmas stuff, and if I post it all now, I will have nothing to show nearer the time. There has been other crafting going on though, I'm in the process of bumping up my stock levels ready for some up and coming craft fairs so watch this space!

Keeping Busy

I have been experimenting with new colours for my Angelfairies.........

....and with the packaging. It's tricky because they are quite delicate, but I think I found the perfect solution, these great hexagonal clear boxes....

....There has also been more card making. I needed to replenish my supplies of these little guys as they seem popular....

On Saturday I did a mini craft fair run by CraftCandy at bungalow and bears. It was really well organized and loads of people came along. The whole thing had a really nice vibe about it. I had fun and it was nice to see the CraftCandy team and some familiar faces from the last one. A big thankyou to everyone that bought something.

I am in a magazine! This months 'Sew Hip'. Lucia from CraftCandy wrote an article on Sheffield and it's crafting creative side, and they used a photo of me and my stall from the last CraftCandy craft fair. Shame I look like a demented grinning crazy person!

Yesterday I updated my etsy shop and listed some new Noobs, Giant Noobs, Noobs cousins, Big heads and Phone holders including this little guy.

busy bee

I have been quite busy these past few days with drawing and crafting. I have started some new illustrations that I am going to use on cards and make into purses, this is the first one finished so far..........

....and I can't resist showing you my first Christmas Character (I know it's far too early,sorry)..........

.....I have made her into a little 3D paper eskimo girl similar to my angelfaries (which are under going new colour and paper experimentations!)..............

...I gathered some of the first ripe tomatoes (and a gherkin) we have been growing in the greenhouse, we have been growing some wierd Italian varieties including a white one. They taste delicious!
