More Fun Finds!

Today I woke up real early as Gwen was taking up most of the room on the bed. As I was awake and it looked sunny I decided to get up and went to a carboot. I got these things......2 soda syphens, some amazing weighing scales (yes more scales, but different type!) and blue shoes.....



...the weighing scales are my favorite, I love the bright floral pattern and the big dial.



I know there has been a lack of artwork and crafting recently, but I am working on stuff. I'm working on a new picture and am doing a Noobs and a Big head Noobs cousin for my friend, so will post pics when they are done.

Fun Finds

Yesterday I went round the charity shops with my good pal Sarah. We had the most fun and I got these things....



.... the thing with the cute illustrations on is an old fisher price wind up radio that chimes out "here we go round the mulberry bush". The orange 60s scales will look good once they have had a clean (useful too, the best sort of tat!) and finally I have some pink shoes! The yellow case I got a different day but I thought it was worthy of being in the picture as it was only 50p and it's cheery sunshine yellow....
I also got this super cute kitsch card, I love it.....



......and Sarah got me these little strawberry boots for my birthday. yay!

How rude!

Today I was in the pound shop in town, and on my way out the security guard stopped me, and asked to look in my bag!!! I mean do I really look like a shop lifter?

Day out

Today I had a trip out with my mum. We went to Macclesfield which I'm not too keen on. The charity shops were rubbish, they were all clean and new and trying too hard, not a spec of interesting old stuff to have a rummage through. I did buy a yellow dress though, I'll show you it one day.

Then we went to Addlington Hall which is a stately home. That was ok. They wouldn't let you take pictures inside. It had some nice gardens outside though and a pretty bench.



I liked these little white bobble flowers.....




.....I'm off to go and do some drawing now. I haven't done any for a few days.

Fairyangels

I have been drawing more things in my simple pen style......




.....these are Fairyangels and I have been experimenting adding bits of colour.
I flit around between my different styles of drawing, at the moment I like doing these and my Doozers, but I am hoping soon I will feel like drawing more of my "raunchy girls" as my mum calls them! hee hee. Mums!

When I went into town the other day, I tried to get another Junko Mizuno figure but they were sold out :(.........but i did get this cute little chap instead hee hee



Do you remember the elephant cup I bought from a charity shop a while back? well I have been on garden centre missions with my mum, getting things for the allotment and I couldn't resist this little plant. I love it's mass of bobbly berries. It fits inside the elephant cup perfectly.



My friend Lucy who bought some of my Doozer paintings, sent me this picture of them on her kitchen wall. I think they look good as a set of 3.

More doozer doodles

Today I framed some of my doozer doodles and i think they look quite nice.





I have done loads of little doozer doodles over the past couple of days. I got some lovely new pens and I just couldn't stop. Some are definatley going in my etsy shop, hopefully tomorrow.














Gwen (my cat) is bored of all the doozer doodles.

Fairy village

I saw these yesterday. I love mushrooms.

I have been doing some little doozer doodles, they are really simple pen drawings on old index cards. I like them and think they will look good framed. I have finally set up my etsy shop, just need to list some items! so not fully there yet! Who knows maybe these guys will go up for sale in there.

Today.....

Today.... I like the colours of my socks and shoes on the grass.



Yesterday.....I got bitten by a guinea pig :( (it was an accident he didn't mean to)
and I finished a picture I was working on. I'm not that happy with how it turned out, but I was reminded, I always feel like this with my pictures and warm to them later on. I hope that is true of this one.



I like her in normal skin colours, but I tried her out in green/blue skin just to see.




Tomorrow.....I am going to hospital (my hand is poorly from the guinea pig bite)
