Yesterday I got back from my trip to Spain. Here are some photos from my week away.

Bored of seeing me? Yes me too, so here are some other pics from around the Costa Brava  area where we stayed.

We  visited the Dali Museum in Figueres. I appreciate the work of Dali and how important his role was in Surrealism, but I have never really been a fan. I had never seen some of the pieces in the museum and was pleasantly surprised by how varied his work was.

We also drove to Barcelona one day, as it was only a couple of hours away. I have been a couple of times before but every time I go I am blown away by the beauty of the buildings.

I especially love Parc Guell designed by Gaudi.

I left a little bit of me behind in Barcelona next to my favorite piece of grafitti...

 

I'm off again!

Tomorrow we are going to Spain for a week! This could be a last chance to wear some pretty summer dresses as I sense a chilly Autumn is soon on it's way.

Little Guys

What with twin Nieces Birthdays tomorrow and our friends new arrival, I have been busy making cards.

All shades of orange

I seem to have orange on the brain at the moment. I love it...

...I am spending a lot of time at home and my lounge is full of lovely orange things. I think it has seeped into my brain. Oh well all creative input is welcomed by brain.

This little picture is going to be on sale in my Etsy and Folksy shops as a print soon.

Vintage treats

On Monday I bought a Barbara Streisand record for 20p from a charity shop, not because I'm into Barbara Streisand, or the musical it's from, but because I love the artwork.

On Thursday I went to Dumfries in Scotland. It's really quite nice there. We stayed in a beautiful Hotel (which used to be a Mental Institute in the olden days). The lobby and corridors still had all the original tiles.

There are so many charity shops there, I couldn't get round them all before they shut! I did manage to get a giant oval plastic 1960s mirror and these items....

New shop additions

I have added a few new items to my Etsy and Folksy shops... Mr & Mrs Mustache owl. Tiny Lamadeer and Little Squirrel and a couple of Flopsy Bunny Noobs.

I was happy to find my  Giant Noobs have been featured in an Etsy Treasury.  Hilarious Plush by RockWater Jewelry . Some of the creatures on there are so funny & cute.
